“ Family Well-being through Tropical Urban Farming”

One of IPB University’s missions is to be the One of IPB University’s missions is to be the World Class University. IPB University commits to improve the quality of education and research at the national and international level. In the internationalization of education, one of the activities that be carried out by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences is the 3rd International Summer Course Program.This program provides an opportunity for students From some countries to interact each other to improve their competencies. The 3rd International Summer Course on Family Life among Agricultural Family in Indonesia is conducted by integration of in-class lectures, Scientific writing, Scientific presentation, and social hours. This year, the title of the 3rd International Summer Course program is “Urban Farming and Family Well-being”. Hopefully, this program can help students to understand how to manage family resources through urban farming activities so that families have better family well-being.
